Maximo Zavaleta, a sophomore at Martin Luther King High in California, finished second in the Division 1-2 boys varsity team sweepstakes race by covering the 2.93-mile layout in 14:51 at the 75th Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational Presented by Nike in Walnut, Calif. Zavaleta helped King secure 10th place with 261 points.
